Sexuality also relates to feelings and sensations, one\u2019s relationship with one\u2019s own body, identity, affection, intimate relations with a special person, social norms, culture, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Young people spend their teen years exploring all of these aspects, each at their own pace and to varying degrees. For this reason, sexuality is often an issue that is top of mind for teenagers, not to mention for their parents as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a parent, you want your teen to feel comfortable and take pleasure in exploring their sexuality, free from any health risks, negative influences (pressure, sense of obligation, threats), discrimination, or violence (physical, psychological, or sexual). Whether or not your teen is sexually active, it is important to guide them and give them the tools they need, based on their stage of development and experience.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n\r\n<\/section>\r\n    <div class=\"container-deco deco-bottom container-bg-color-white\">\r\n            <\/div>\r\n\n\n\r\n    <div class=\"container-deco deco-top container-bg-color-white\">\r\n            <\/div>\r\n<section class=\"container-eklo add-table-content has-background has-white-background-color container-padding-4em\">\r\n\r\n    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                <div class=\"container-eklo-content eklo-deco\" >\r\n            <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n<div class=\"highlight-box box-style-black\">\r\n    <div class=\"row align-items-center\">\r\n        <div class=\"col\">\r\n            <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\r\n<h3 class=\"title-icon h2\">\r\n    <span class=\"title-icon-icon\">\r\n       <i class=\"fa-classic fa-regular fa-users\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i>    <\/span>\r\n    Sexuality and teens in the Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie region<\/h3>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 % of students aged 14&nbsp;and over question their&nbsp;sexual orientation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One-third of students aged 14 and over&nbsp;have had&nbsp;consensual sex(oral, vaginal, or anal) with a partner.
